No sew French Macarons amigurumi free pattern

Materials:

Finish size: 4cm or (about) 1,5 inches

Terms and abbreviations (US terms):

Single crochet (sc): insert the hook into the stitch, pull up a loop yarn over the needle, you will have two loops on the hook, yarn over the needle and pull it through the two loops.

Half double crochet (hdc): yarn over the needle, insert the hook into the stitch, pull up a loop yarn over the needle, you will have three loops on the hook, yarn over the needle and pull it through the loops.

Back post slip stitch (bpsl): insert the hook around the post of the stitch, from back to front, then out the back again, just like I would for any other back post stitch. Yarn over, pull up a loop and pull it through the loop of the needle.

Increase (inc): make two single crochet inside the same stitch.

Decrease (dec): Insert hook into front loop only of next two stitches, yarn under, pull through, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn under and pull through both loops on the hook.

Back loop Slip stitch (blsl): Insert hook into the back loop only of the stitch, yarn under, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.

With the color of your choosing for the pastry, start.

1 rnd  6sc in a magic ring

2 rnd  6inc Total 12sts

3 rnd  (1sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 18sts

4 rnd  (1sc, 1inc) repeat 9 times Total 27sts

5 and 6 rnd  27sc

7 rnd  27bpsl

• Change to the contrast color (for the filling).

8 rnd  27blhdc

9 rnd  27sc

• Change back to the initial color. And fasten off the filling color.

10 rnd  27sl

• For the next round, you will work in the front loop of round 9. Leaving round 10 facing outside of the macaron.

11 rnd  27Flsc

12 rnd  27sc

13 rnd  (1sc, 1dec) repeat 9 times Total 18sts

• Stop here to add stuffing material before continuing to round 13.

14 rnd  (1sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 12sts

• Cut the yarn and fasten it off.
