Little Panda free amigurumi pattern
Materials:
- 2mm crochet hook
- Light worsted (DK – double knitting, 6ply) in 2 different colors. Cotton yarn.
- Black thread for embroidering the eyes.
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.
Finish size: 7,5cm or 2,5 inches.

HEAD and BODY
With color A yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
4 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 24sts
5 rnd (3sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 30sts
6 to 11rnd 30sc
12 rnd (1sc, 1dec, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
• For the next round, you will work in the remaining front loop of round 12. Change to color B.
13 rnd 18blsl
14 rnd FL(2sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 24sts
15 and 16 rnd 24sc
• Change back to color A
17 and 18 rnd 24sc
• For the next round, you will work in the back loop only.
19 rnd BL(2sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
20 rnd (1sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 12sts
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off and hide the remaining tail inside the toy.
BACK PAW
With color B start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 to 5 rnd 12sc
6 rnd 6sc crocheting the sides together, closing the paw.
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off and leave a tail for sewing it.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
FRONT PAW
With color B start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 to 4 rnd 6sc
5 rnd 3sc crocheting the sides together, closing the paw.
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off and leave a tail for sewing it.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
NOSE
With color A start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd (1inc, 2sc) repeat 2 times Total 8sts
3 rnd 8sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing it.
EARS
With color B start,
1 rnd 4sc in a magic ring
2 rnd chain 1, 1sc, 1inc, 1inc, 1sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off and leave a tail for sewing it.
• Make another one following the same instructions
ASSEMBLY
- Use pins to fasten the back paws under the panda’s body. Sew it under the Panda.
- Sew the arms taking 3 rounds from the body. Starting in round 14 and finishing in round 16.
- Sew the ears starting in round 3 of the head, and finishing in round 6.
- Sew the nose 2 rounds above the neck.
- Embroider the eyes in round 7 leaving 4 stitches between them.
- Embroider the nose in a triangle shape in the central part of the nose. Leave a space of 1 round between the face and the nose.
