Snowman amigurumi free pattern
Materials:
- 2mm crochet hook
- White, red, green, brown and blue colors, 100% cotton sports weight yarn, I recommend this one.
- A little bit of orange yarn to embroider the nose (carrot).
- Black thread for embroidering the eyes.
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.
Finish size: 11cm or (about) 4,3 inches

• Cut the yarn and fasten it off.
BRANCHES
With brown yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 to 5 rnd 6sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off, and leave a small tail for sewing.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
HAT
Here you will work with two colors. Red and green. With red yarn chain 12, change to green and chain 6, having a total of 18 chains. Skip the first chain and start,
1 row (5sc) green, (10sc, 2sl) red
• From here on, you will work only in the back loop. Only the edge stitch in green (the first green stitch) will work normally sc.
2 row (2blsl, 10blsc) red, (4blsc, 1sc) green
3 row (1sc, 4blsc) green, (10blsc, 2blsl) red
• Repeat rows 2 and 3 eighteen times or, until you reach 39 rows in total.
• Cut the yarn and fasten it off. Leave a tail for sewing.
• Sew the green edges together with the green yarn. And sew the red stitches with the red yarn.
• CLOSING THE HAT TOP: With the remaining red yearn, wave in the edge, pull it tight, closing the top of the hat.
SCARF
With blue yarn, chain 47,
1 row 46sc, chain 1, turn
2 and 3 row 46blsc, chain one and turn
• Cut the yarn and fasten it off. Leave a small tail for sewing it.
MITTENS
THUMB
With green yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 and 3 rnd 6sc
• Cut the yarn and fasten it off. Leave it on the side for now.
GLOVE
With green yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 and 4 rnd 12sc
5 rnd (4sc, 1dec) repeat 2 times Total 10sts
• For the next round, you will start the round crocheting together with 3 stitches from the thumb,
6 rnd 3sc (crocheting together with the thumb), 7sc
• For the next round, you will start the round crocheting from the 3 remaining stitches from the thumb, ignoring the 3 stitches from the round
7 rnd 3sc from the thumb, 7sc around the glove
8 rnd 10sc
• Change to red yarn
9 rnd Chain 6. Skip the first chain and make 5sc. Make 2sl in the foundation glove.
10 rnd 10blsc, chain 1, turn
11 rnd 10FLsc, chain 1
• Repeat rounds 10 and 11 five times (or until the end of the foundation round).
• Cut the yarn, fasten it off and fold the wrist detail.
ASSEMBLY
- Sew the branches on the side of the Snowman, between rounds 13 to 15
- Embroider the eyes in round 28 leaving 3 stitches distance between them.
- With orange yarn, embroider the nose in the round under the eyes, with the shape of an uneven triangle.
- Embroider the mouth one round under the nose, with the length of 8 stitches, and going down two rounds.
- Dress the scarf and sew the edges in front.
- Dress the mittens and hat (sewing here is optional to you).
