  • Black thread for embroidering the eyes.
  • Stuffing material
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle.
  • Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.

  1. Do you have a favorite yarn that you use? I just love your amigurumi patterns . Thank you. I can’t find the fingering yarn locally, so I will have to order this type of yarn which is why I’m asking if you have a preference. I suppose I could use a different weight, but they would be much bigger.

    • I am so sorry for only seeing this comment now Karen! I purchase my yarns in the local shop near where I live. And the brand is called Mondial, I use basic cotton.
I am working on finding a good yarn brand that sells worldwide so, I can pinpoint the exact material, but I live in Serbia, and is hard to get some stuff delivered here in a reasonable price.
Meanwhile, you can search for 100% cotton yarn that is suitable for a 2mm hook for this pattern. You don’t need to get a fingering one, you can even use a light worsted or DK.
      I hope this can help!
      Ana
