Chubby Reindeer crochet ornament free pattern
Materials:
- 1,75mm or 2mm crochet hook
- Dark and light brown, green, red and yellow 100% cotton sports weight yarn. The brand I used for this amigurumi is Mondial Lane basic cotton. For similar yarn with the same quality and thickness, I recommend this one, which I also use for many of my projects.
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Embroidery thread
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.
Finish size: 11cm or (about) 4,3 inches

BODY
With light brown color yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
4 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 24sts
5 rnd (3sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 30sts
6 rnd (4sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 36sts
7 rnd (5sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 42sts
8 rnd (6sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 48sts
9 to 16 rnd 48sc
17 rnd (6sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 42sts

HORNS 1
With dark brown start,
1 rnd 5sc in a magic ring
2 to 9 rnd 5sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a small tail for sewing.
• Make another one.
HORNS 2
With dark brown start,
1 rnd 5sc in a magic ring
2 to 6 rnd 5sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a small tail for sewing.
• Make another one.
• Sew the horn 2 in the round number 4 of the horn 1.
PAWS
With dark brown start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 rnd 12bpsc
4 rnd 12sc
• Change to light brown
5 to 7 rnd 12sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
• Make four of this detail in total.


EARS
With light brown start,
1 rnd 3sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 3inc Total 6sts
3 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 3 times Total 9sts
4 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 3 times Total 12sts
5 rnd 12sc
6 rnd 6dec Total 6sts
7 rnd 6sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
SNOUT
With light brown chain 5. Skip the first chain and start,
1 rnd 3sc, 4sc in the last chain, 2sc, 3sc in the last chain Total 12sts
2 rnd (1inc, 3sc, 1inc, 1sc) repeat 2 times Total 16sts
3 rnd 16sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing it.
NOSE AND BAUBLES
With red color yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 and 3 rnd 6sc
• Cut the yarn and fasten off. For this first red one, leave a tail for sewing it. This will be the nose.
• Repeat round 1 to 3 to make the baubles.
• I made 2 in red, 2 in green and 2 in yellow. The color choices is up to you!

ASSEMBLY
- Sew four legs in the under-central part of the light brown ball.
- Sew the ears between rounds 6 to 9.
- Sew the horns in the third round of the head. Leaving 3 rounds between the ears and the horn.
- Embroider the eyes in round 9, leaving 8 stitches between them.
- Sew the snout two rounds under the eyes, taking 7 rounds of length for the snout.
- Sew the red nose detail on top of the snout.
- With a black thread, insert the colorful baubles in the thread, roll around the horns and secure the thread inside the reindeer.
- For the tail, take two small pieces of light brown yarn and attach it to the center back part of the reindeer in round 12.

Hey Kelly! Thank you for the feedback (although I am a bit late to reply you). I will fix this about the yellow/white for sure! Now that you mention, and I paid attention, for me is also a problem!
