In this blog post, I share this old Instagram icon crochet keychain, with a complete video tutorial and suitable for crochet beginners. And is super fast to crochet!

Instagram icon Keychain free amigurumi pattern
Materials:
- 2,75mm crochet hook
- I used 4ply 100% cotton yarn colors brown and light brown, black, and a little scraps of red, yellow, green and blue. But you can use any yarn of your preference!
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Keychain or a piece of yarn for hanging.

SQUARE
With light brown yarn chain 15. Skip the first chain and start,
1 row 13sc, 4sc in last chain, 12sc, 3sc in the last chain. Total 32sts
2 row 1inc, 13sc, 1inc, 1sc, 1inc, 13sc, 1inc, 1sc. Total 36sts
3 to 12 row 36sc
• Change to dark brown, or the color contrast you are using.
13 to 17 row 36sc
18 row (1dec, 13sc, 1dec, 1sc) repeat 2 times. Total 32sts
19 row (1dec, 11sc, 1dec, 1sc) repeat 2 times. Total 28sts
• Cut the yarn, and leave a long tail for fastening off and sewing the keychain.
• Fold it in half and sew 14 stitches from one side to the 14 stitches of the other side (min 10:05 of the video tutorial).
• Once you finished sewing and arrive at the opposite corner, sew the keychain together on the square.
FRONT LENS
With black yarn start,
1 row 6sc in a magic ring
2 row 6inc Total 12sts
• Change to light brown yarn,
3 row (1sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times. Total 18sts
4 row 18bpsc
5 row 18sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
• Sew it in the central part of the square.
LITTLE LENS ON TOP RIGHT CORNER
With black color yarn start,
1 row 6sc in a magic ring
2 row 6inc Total 12sts
• Join with a slip stitch.
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
• Sew it on the top right corner of the square.
FINAL DETAILS
• Cut 30cm of yarn with the colors red, yellow, green and blue.
• Insert the yarn on a sewing needle and make a knot to secure the ends together.
• Insert the yarn somewhere on the backside of the square and follow the video instructions from the minute 20:29.
