No-sew Carrot Cake free amigurumi pattern
Materials:
- 2mm crochet hook
- Cotton sports weight yarn colors white, dark orange, bright orange and green
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Black thread for embroider the eyes.
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.
Finish size: 6cm or 2 inches with the ears.

Terms and abbreviations (US terms):
Single crochet (sc): insert the hook into the stitch, pull up a loop yarn over the needle, you will have two loops on the hook, yarn over the needle and pull it through the two loops.
Increase (inc): make two single crochet inside the same stitch.
Decrease (dec): Insert hook into front loop only of next two stitches, yarn under, pull through, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn under and pull through both loops on the hook.
Front loop (FL): Insert hook into the front loop only of the stitch, and continue with the stitch written in front of the abbreviation FL.
Bobble stitch (BO): Yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over again and pull through the first 2 loops (you’ll have 2 loops on the hook.) Repeat 4 times and you will have 5 loops on your hook, yarn over one last time and pull inside all loops on the needle.
CARROT
With green yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6bpsc
• Change to orange.
• For round 3, you will work grabbing the back loop only. After round 3, you are back on working grabbing both loops of the stitch.
3 rnd BL 6inc Total 12sts
4 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 4 times Total 16sts
5 rnd 16sc
6 rnd (6sc, 1dec) repeat 2 times Total 14sts
7 rnd (5sc, 1dec) repeat 2 times Total 12sts
8 rnd (2sc, 1dec) repeat 3 times Total 9sts
• Change to white color
9 rnd FL9inc Total 18sts
10 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 9 times Total 27sts
11 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 9 times Total 36sts
12 rnd (3sc, 1Bo) repeat 9 times
• Change to dark orange,
13 rnd 36blsc
14 and 15 rnd 36sc
• Change to white color
16 rnd 36sc
• Change to dark orange,
17 and 18 rnd 36sc
• Change to white color
19 rnd 36sc
• Change to dark orange,
20 and 21 rnd 36sc
22 rnd BL(4sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 30sts
23 rnd (3sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 24sts
24 rnd (2sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
• Stop here to add stuffing material.
25 rnd (1sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 12sts
• Cut the yarn and fasten it off. Hide the remaining tail inside the toy.
FINAL DETAILS
- Cut 4 pieces of green yarn with 5cm length and attach on top of the carrot.
- Embroider the eyes in round 16 leaving 4 stitches between each other.
- With the same thread, embroider the mouth in round 17.
