Little Romeo free amigurumi pattern
Materials:
- 2mm crochet hook
- Skin tone of your choice, 2 colors for the clothes and 1 for the hair plus trousers, fingering cotton yarn.
- Black thread for embroidering the eyes.
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.

ARMS
With skin color yarn of your choice start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6sc
• Change to light green color
3 to 6 rnd 6sc
• Change to dark green yarn, chain1.
• Change the direction of crocheting and start working in the back loop.
7 rnd BL(1hdc, 1hdc inc) repeat 3 times Total 9sts
• For the next round, you will work on the 6 remaining front loop of the round 6. Crocheting together one side to another, closing the arm. This will make the round 7 to be left facing outside. Creating the shirt sleeves.
• For the next round, you will crochet in the remaining front loop of the stitch from the round 6.
8 rnd 3FLsc (crochet one side to another, closing the arm)
• Cut the yarn and fasten off.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
LEGS
With dark green start
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 2 times Total 8sts
• Change to black color yarn,
3 to 7 rnd 8sc
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and make another one
• Don’t cut the yarn of the second leg, chain 2 and continue working the body.
• Connect the two legs by inserting the loop of the needle inside one stitch of the first leg, following,
8 rnd 20sc (2sts from the chains, 8sts from the leg, 2sts from the other side of the chain and 8sts from the other leg)
9 rnd (4sc, 1inc) repeat 4 times Total 24sts
10 rnd 24sc
• Change to dark green yarn,
11 rnd 24blsl
12 rnd 24blsc
13 rnd 24sc
14 rnd (2sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
15 rnd 18sc
• For the next round, we are going to crochet together the body with the arms.
16 rnd 5sc, 3sc crocheting with the arm, 5sc, 3sc crocheting with the other arm, 2sc Total 18sts
17 rnd (1sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 12sts
• Change to the skin color of your choice
18 rnd 12blsl
• Start adding stuffing material before continuing to next steps.
• Stop here to embroider the light green detail on his shirt.
• Cut a piece of yarn and make straight vertical lines on his shirt. Make 6 straight lines.
• For the next round, you will work only in the remaining front loop of the previous round (the front loop in dark green color)

With black yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 18sts
4 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 24sts
5 rnd (3sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 30sts
6 rnd (4sc, 1inc) repeat 6 times Total 36sts

9 rnd 14dc, 26sc, 8dc
10 rnd 14dc, 6sc, (chain 7, skip first chain, 6sl, skip next st from the round, connect with a sc) repeat 3 times, (chain 5, skip first chain, 4sl, skip next st from the round, connect with a sc) repeat 3 times, 8sc, 6dc, 2sc, join with a sl.
• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing it.
HAT
With dark green yarn start,
1 rnd 6sc in a magic ring
2 rnd 6inc Total 12sts
3 rnd 12inc Total 24sts
4 rnd (1sc, 1inc) repeat 12 times Total 36sts
5 rnd (2sc, 1inc) repeat 12 times Total 48sts
6 rnd 48blsc
7 to 13 rnd 48sc
• Cut the yarn and fasten off.
FEATHER
With light green yarn, chain 7. Skip the first chain and start,
1 row Insert the needle in the second chain, pull the yarn. Insert the needle in the third chain, pull the yarn a bit higher. Repeat in all chains. In the last chain, pull the yarn normally, not higher than the others. Once you have 7 loops on the needle, start closing the stitches one by one, yarn over, inside the first loop of the needle, yarn over again, inside the loop on the needle. Repeat until you have just one remaining loop. Chain one, turn your work and repeat the same on the other side of the chain.
Join on the top by making single crochet inside the chain you made before turning the work.
ASSEMBLY
- With an embroidering needle, embroider the eyes in round 24 of the face leaving 5 stitches between them.
- Place the hair on top of the head and sew it around the head.
- Sew the feather on the right side of the hat.
- No need to sew the hat on his head.
