Is the wooden ring just a plain normal ring or a special kind?

Hey Beverly! All natural wooden ring that don't contain synthetic chemicals and non-toxic materials is safe to play! There are many types of wooden teething rings to choose from, the most known are cherry wood, walnut, madrone, alder and myrtle and the most recommended type to use is hard maple wood. But, as I mention before, any natural wooden ring without chemicals are safe! And much much better than the plastic ones! For cleaning, you can wipe it out with wet wipes, don't let it soak in water. After, you can also apply some coconut oil, olive oil... just a little bit!
