Today I share this Sleepy Dog amigurumi rattle crochet pattern. It is a simple pattern, suitable for amigurumi beginners and, is fast to crochet! So if you are looking for a fast crochet project for a baby shower gift, this is the right one for you!

Cat baby rattle toy free amigurumi pattern
Materials:
- 2mm crochet hook
- Light worsted (or DK) yarn in two colors of you preference (I used 100% acrylic for this pattern)
- Black yarn for the eyes.
- Stuffing material
- Scissors
- Sewing needle.
- Rattle noise of your choice (here is what I use).
- Or, you can use safety eyes! The position is at the end of this post.
Finish size: 17cm or (about) 6,6 inches

Start with white color yarn start,

• Cut the yarn, fasten off and hide the remaining tail inside the toy,
EARS
With brown yarn start,
1 row 6sc in a magic ring
2 row (1inc, 2sc) repeat 2 times Total 8sts
3 row (1inc, 3sc) repeat 2 times Total 10sts
4 row (1inc, 4sc) repeat 2 times Total 12sts
5 row (1inc, 5sc) repeat 2 times Total 14sts
6 row (1inc, 6sc) repeat 2 times Total 16sts
7 row (1inc, 7sc) repeat 2 times Total 18sts
8 row (1inc, 8sc) repeat 2 times Total 20sts
9 row (1inc, 9sc) repeat 2 times Total 22sts

• Cut the yarn, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
• Make another one following the same instructions.
NOTE: Here, I made one ear in brown and another one in white.
For the white ear, I add some brown spots following:
1st dot: 6sc in a magic ring, join with a sl
2nd dot: 8hdc in a magic ring, join with a sl
• Fasten off and sew it in one of the ears.
ASSEMBLY
- Sew the ears between rows 4 and 5 of the head, going down taking 7 rows in length. Leave 14 stitches between one to another on the front side of the face.
- Embroider the eyes in row 10 leaving 4 stitches in between them.
- Embroider the nose 2 rows under the eyes.
