SKIRT

With blue chain 24sts and start crocheting in the first chain, closing a circle.

For the first round, you will crochet in the third loop of the chain (if you don’t know where is located the third loop, watch the minute 1:20 of video tutorial PART 1).

• Crochet the next round again in the third loop.

15 rnd  6sc, 3sc crocheting with the arm, 5sc, 3sc crocheting   with the other arm, 1sc Total 18sts

TIP: If your starting stitch is in a different position than mine, the arms will be in a different position. To avoid that, find the 5 central stitches in the front of the doll. This should be the distance between one arm to another. Having these 5 central stitches, adjust the position of where you should crochet together the arm with the body.

16 rnd  (1sc, 1dec) repeat 6 times Total 12sts

• Change to skin color yarn of your choice

• Add stuffing material before continuing to round 17.

• Attach the yarn in the top part of the detail and chain 14. Cut the yarn and fasten off.

• Make the same process on the other side.

• Now, attach the yarn in the edge of row 4 and again make 14 chains. Cut the yarn, and make the same process on the other side of the row.

• This will leave the detail with 4 strings, two on the top to tight in the back of the neck. And two on the waist to tight in the back of the doll.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Fasten the pinafore on Alice’s body with simple knots.
  2. With an embroidering needle, embroider the eyes in round 25 of the face leaving 5 stitches between them.
  3. Place the hair on top of the head and sew around the head.
  4. With your fingers, organize the hair strings in a way that looks symmetrical to you. Use pins to help you with the hair.
  5. Take the hairband, use it to fix the hair where you want, and make a simple knot on the back.

TIP: If you want the hair better organized, use pins to fasten the curls where you want them to stay and make small stitches with the same color of the hair, replacing the pins.
